Well, welcome to the first Lego Heights story. And welcome specifically to the commentary for it. This is an idea taken from another online comic that I came across while making this first story (Concerned is not only brilliantly done, it's also laugh out loud funny, so have a look). Basically I get to waffle on about how this was made and you get an insight into the mind of a person with too much time on their hands. Just like the commentary for a DVD!

Anyway, on with the waffling. I'm quite pleased with how this first page turned out, although I'm still tempted to redo a couple of the shots, especially compared with how some of the later pages look much better by comparison. In particular, the Emperor's flat isn't very interesting, and could do with decorating (it being the same colour as the outside of the building here). Also, the more observant reader may have noticed that towards the top of the panels I've cheated and used computer-techno-magic to colour in behind the speech bubbles. That's because the set I shot this on wasn't complete at the time, and the walls basically ran out just about there. Also, the combination of tan walls and slight overexposure in panels three and four mean that the scout trooper (behind Darth Vader) isn't particularly visible.
