Ah, reality television. Look, don't get me wrong, some of it can be quite interesting, but do we really need so much of it? I once heard a comedian talking around the idea that in a few years the only novelty left for reality TV will be trying to coax the remaining few of us who have yet to appear on television, to appear. I'm sure it'll get that way eventually. We can already all broadcast the most uninteresting details of our lives via blogs and podcasts, so I'm guessing it's only a matter of time.
I thought for some reason (as I always do) that this story would be the easy one, because I won't have to build anything new. Wrong! Look, two new sets on the first page alone. Admittedly, panel 3 only required a simple wall, but the freighter interior for panel 4 required a whole 'set' building all by itself. For those of you who are interested, here it is. A friend commented that it was the best model I've ever made. I'm not sure if I should take that as an insult or a compliment.
Okay... other things. Yoda is standing on his chair. The little guy's legs don't bend, so what are you supposed to do? But I guess it looks alright. Easier than getting Jar-Jar to sit down (those big floppy ears require a custom modification of almost everything he has to sit in). Panel 2 was a nuisance, just because I couldn't get it to look exactly right. But I'm pleased with the caption, at least. That was an idea I'd wanted to use for ages, and now I finally have. Hooray.
